# Ingredients:

07 - 3/4 cup royal icing or powdered sugar for glazing
08 - Edible gold or silver pearls (optional)
09 - Colored sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
02 - Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until thoroughly combined.
03 - Sift together the flour and salt, then gently fold into the wet mixture until a smooth dough forms.
04 - Shape the dough into a disk, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for a minimum of one hour.
05 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
06 - On a floured surface, roll the chilled dough to approximately 1/5 inch (5 mm) thickness.
07 - Use angel-shaped cookie cutters to cut biscuits and transfer them to the prepared baking sheets.
08 - Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Remove from oven and cool completely on racks.
09 - Once cooled, apply royal icing and embellish with pearls, sprinkles, or edible glitter as desired. Allow icing to set before serving or storing.
