04 - 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey, adjust to taste

05 - 1/4 teaspoon pure peppermint extract

# Instructions:

01 - Sift matcha powder into a small bowl to remove any lumps.
02 - Add hot water to matcha and whisk vigorously with a bamboo whisk or milk frother until smooth and frothy.
03 - Warm milk in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming, avoiding boiling. Stir in maple syrup or honey and peppermint extract.
04 - Froth the milk using a frother or whisk vigorously until a light foam forms.
05 - Divide matcha mixture evenly between two mugs, then pour the hot frothed peppermint milk over it.
